Marina Perez

The Edge

Sometimes a face is imbued with a certain special something that makes each and every picture compelling, Marina Peres is in the possession of such a beauty. Her moody good looks and natural sultriness make her one of the most captivating faces on the scene right now, Paul Wetherell’s series of intimate portraits of the Spanish siren for i-D show a vision of evocative, intelligent beauty.

She doesn't have a single flaw. Perfection and yet never boring. I love how haunting she is in this set.

Those last few shots...wow. Actually, the entire editorial is wow. She continues to amaze me with her print work and on the runway, it's a shame she doesn't get booked that much in print/ads.

Yes, haunting.. I remember the first time I noticed Marina, in Another Magzine FW05, wearing a rose print silk Prada dress. That editorial is still one of my all time favorites.

^At first I didnt get her to be honest now I love her:D, very haunting mysterious beauty, that new Id ed is gorgeous love the shot of her sitting in the black beaded Balmain dress:heart:

Thanks, Luxx, for the scans...she looks MAGNIFICENT...as always. Every last one of those shots is perfect.

Marina deserves a campaign. And I'm really not saying that because I'm her number one fan...I think she deserves it because she truly does. She's proven herself time and time again that she's an absolute pro. She's a master on the catwalk and she's beyond captivating in print. What's not to love? I mean, I like that she's a bit underrated...it makes her more special, but I wish she wasn't quite so underrated as she is now.

Marina before the DKNY show in New York. Marina has graced the cover of Vogue Spain twice and is the former face for
Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Pucci, Moschino, and Giorgio Armani. Not only super stylish, but super established.

I love what she's wearing here.
