Marine Serre Menswear F/W 2023.24 Paris

I feel like people do actually buy marine serre it's just like the people who buy LV and Fendi and whatever but want to seem more somehow esoteric/artsy/gay so they buy her crescent moon stuff and other sh*t like fiorucci and jw anderson

The styling is messy, maybe because they forced the crescent moon on all of her key looks.
And if they are recycling the fabric (or deadstock), it needs to be desirable and flattering. They have one plus size model and I felt bad for her because her designated look is terribly unflattering.

This is hilariously true. The crescent moon is basically a monogram-logomania thing, but I know I lot of art-hoes/fashion **** that refute it and try to add an intellectual spin to it. Students also hate having Serre's moons be called a cash in monogram so they say "you just don't get it!!1!11!".

Like momma, it's a cash cow for the brand. Stop acting a fool.

There are some nice streetwear separates here and there but those full body suits that look like carpets are hideous, makes me feel like am suffocating. The club lights and set are equally suffocating.

It gives me a bit of a claustrophobic feeling... But its a clear reinforce of her identity as a designer... I LOVED it. Plus if you have Mark V, Erin W and Anne Catherine in your show ... You won me over!

I will excuse the messy styling just because they casted one of my favourite models Will Chalker!!! someone please correct me if I am wrong but I think this is one of the one shows he walked for this season in paris? he's so dreamy!

Very ugly, the couple looks made out of skinned-alive Sesame Street residents are nightmare material. I think the only look I could see working IRL is the black outfit with white contrast stitching, the rest would only compel me to seek psychiatric help for the wearer…urgently.

The same question I make myself every season is perfectly relevant again: Where would she be without Gaultier?
