The only thing I liked about Marion was the colour of the dress. I like the dark, teal hue. But the cut/style, her hair, and her makeup? Meh, underwhelming.

I know! She is just so incredibly elegant so even if I hate what she's wearing, I can't help but think she looks amazing. She just pulls things off so well.

I think she was far from boring!
Of course she's worn amazing gowns previously, but there were far worse looks on the red carpet this year.
For me, Marion was one of about 5 women who truly looked like they were meant to be there.
I love the colour on her, and there are parts of the dress that were structurally stunning.
It's just a shame that there was so much going on on the top half that just sort of got lost when you got to the train.
I actually wish that John had of chopped it off for her.

I guess im in the minority but i loved marions whole globes looks, the Dior dress is perfection on her, love that rich color and the slit is just the right amount of sexy, and of course her face is utterly amazing so that doesnt hurt

^ totally agree with you! I guess some people have a higher standard when it comes to her style (which is understandable, she knows how to bring it!) but I think it was so elegant and the color was perfect for her. She was one of my fav looks of the night. I think she went simple for the GG's so she can really knock it out of the park for the Oscars!!!

I highly doubt she'll wear Dior to the Oscars now that she's worn it to the past 2 award shows, as well as last year's Oscars.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what she does for the Screen Actors Guild and Baftas if she attends.
