Marion Cotillard attended the ‘TimesTalk Presents an Evening with Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon and Gus Van Sant’ event at The Times Center in New York City and the ‘Rust and Bone’ luncheon yesterday.
My reaction to this look was “hallelujah, it’s Alaïa”.
The French actress has been on a non-stop Dior fashion-fest for the past few weeks, so even though this isn’t a premiere or a gala event, I’m thankful for the mini-break.
Her black-and-white short-sleeve dress, featuring an A-line pleated skirt and jagged edges, was simply styled with black pumps with a steel heel.

I also enjoyed her on Chelsea Lately, she nailed it! I also like that last grey dress--I have to agree that I like the break in Dior, even if I really enjoyed her Printemps and AFI Festival Dior looks.

Marion Cotillard and son Marcel cheer for partner Guillaume Canet as he competes in the Gucci Paris Masters Show Jumping event. 'The Dark Knight Rises' actress took her little one to see the horses before spending some brief time in the stands with his father, who placed 5th in the competition. Canet cleared the round twice with 2 different horses during the CSI 2 show jumping event held at the Paris Nord Villepinte Expostition Center.

When I saw the last few pictures, it reminded me of that comment she made at the roundtable regarding children and the paparazzi, "Come to France, we have laws!" Though this isn't on the streets of Paris, so I guess it counts more as a public appearance.
