I love her make-up and hair, but I am honestly surprised by the widespread love for this dress. The material makes it look like those cheap, gaudy prom dresses, especially with the two-tone colors.

I wouldn't it if it was one-tone. Overall, Marion can wear anything, even something I despise and still look like a knockout.

Because you pretty much said everything I wanted to say, right down to the Marion can wear anything/is a Goddess/looks good in a potato sack/we must all kneel before her etc Okay, so maybe you didn't say those things exactly, but my intuition leads me to think those things were implied!

I pretty much did imply that, you're right!

Oh god, I just looked at the headshot above and she has a mustache of foundation/bronzer.... Her make-up was applied really, really poorly.

I love the dress, it's not my favourite look ever, but I think it's lovely on her.
As is common with red carpet shots, the flash creates a weird sheen on the fabric. So many looks are ruined by this in photographs I think.
I imagine that it's really deep and luxurious in real life, which works perfectly with her make up and hair.
It's a really sleek, yet playful look!
