 love these quotes :flower:
All these places in Potsdamer Platz in Berlin are named after her - truly the epitomy of glamorous "old hollywood" ^_^

Have you guys read her books? She has two and one of them is Marlene A-Z. It's an entire book of her witty opinions and whatnot...she was a very clever writer.;)

Those HQ especially were spectacular. Thanks! :flower:

Marlene Dietrich always said that THE DEVIL IS A WOMAN was her favorite film of hers because she said that she never looked more beautiful in a film than that one.

love those eyebrows! I noticed that the more famous she became, the higher they went...untill she got older...

I agree Marlene is a true icon (fashion & hollywood). There are some amazing photographs of her in the costume building at Warner Brothers Studios.

Marie Magdalene von Losch (r) and family

yes, Dietrich wasn't her real name.

Hi, Dietrich was her real name, as it was the name of his father. His father died in WWI and her mother married Herr von Losch. Then she probably became Fräulein von Losch. :flower:

And this is her real father who is on that picture.
