[Crying Diamonds]

Beautifully shot, beautiful colours, the poses are a little contrived for me, but it's so refreshing to see a campaign concentrating mainly on the clothing instead of models' faces or a rigid arm with a handbag on it.

The sharp and graphic composition of geometric shapes and colors-- even the shadows, resemble a painting; Mondrian or John Register. Just amazing.

But, the first shot looks like she's moving furniture, and the last one looks like she got run over and flattened my furniture. It's kind of hilariously brilliant in that sense, if that was their intention. The middle shot with the model on the mauve carpet is sublime: The pose is relaxed and elegant; organic and abstract; playful and eerie-- perfectly defines what Marni is to me. If the other two had been more along the lines of this one, this would be the runaway best campaign to come along in some time.

Marvelous, right out the gate Marni eases into one of the best campaigns of the season, in my opinion. What I admire most about this is focus, attention to each image. As Phuel stated, its a series -- scenario that occurs in each fame, the image of solely the footwear in the chair then seeing a quarter of chair underneath Marte. For Jackie to step back into fashion slowly and deliver such strong imagery then her work is desired and needed.

I'm so into this. Romantic, striking, and your eyes immediately go to the clothes. It's just such a perfect first campaign.
