This is so tragic especially the double waistband with the belt, so desperate like Raf trying to be radical

Even the bags look like current Miu Miu, what a wasted opportunity

Yeah it's MUCH more Prada/Miu Miu than Marni. It's missing the decorative spirit and eccentricity of Marni. Practically no experimental prints, no play with proportion. Just a lot of polite separates.

Very underwhelming and understimulating overall.

literally who's idea was it to open the big florescent lights on the ceiling? the set looked so much better with the red lights, and the darkness would've done the clothes some good.

I know very little about Meryll Rogge. Her own brand did nothing for me. If this collection is any indication of her creative ability then I'm not so sure she's a good fit for Marni.

I actually love it!
It wasn’t perfect but I liked what I saw. There are some great pieces.
I definitely saw the Prada-ism but I think more than that, working with Tamara who is channeling Lotta won’t help her because clearly so much Prada-ism has been absorbed that Marni may just end up look like the little sister of MiuMiu.

Marni under Consuelo was more controlled, this is more chaotic but it’s a nice debut.

To see if she evolves and work with another stylist but I’m ok to trade Fendi for Marni now.

Apart from the Pradaness of it all, it´s very repetitive and lazy.

Giant sequins, lining panel with exposed seams, giant sequins, lining panel with exposed seams...and when she tries to do something different...diaper shorts which makes the model look like she pooped herself!

The nylon pieces near the end were really embarrasing. She just unsewn the "Prada Sport" red tag to add the Marni one. Lazy AF!!!
