talk about suffering for fashion. I found a amazing pair of Margiela distressed boots on sale and bought them. The leather is so roughed up it's almost like suede and they have an amazing shape. I wore them the next day and did a good amount of walking, and towards the end of the day my heel started hurting and I developed a blister. Then, stupidly, I peeled the blister off which hurt. Then even MORE stupidly, I wore them again the next day because I love them so much, and ended up doing MORE walking than the day before! By the end of the day I was hobbling down the street like a cripple. When I got home and looked at my blister, it looked like something out of some medical pathology book, really nasty, and it HURT! But it's almost healed now and I'm gonna wear them again tomorrow!

I have a pair of boots which really used to hurt, I put one of those second skin bandages on where it rubs before I wear it and can't even feel anything. You should try it

OMG...Brian,those look exactly like the boots I got by Ann Demeuleemeester

PS: They didn't hurt my feet at all as I was contemplating a pair from MMM....thank heavens I didn't now.

That has happened to me a couple of times also... Here is my story: I bought this amazing Hugo Boss shoes from their Hugo line. First time I wore them was when I was going to a friends party. Well I didn't know that we had to walk so much and when I heard that we would have to walk several miles (and some of it in a forest!!!!!!) I taught to my self "Oh my god!!!!!!" When we finnaly got to my friends house my feet were hurting there was two blisters in each feet and like Brian W I wore the same shoes the next day. My feet were bleeding and they hurt so much!!!!! Fortunately the shoes were in perfect condition after the hiking experiment. Now I can use the shoes for several hours and they don't hurt a pit...

All new shoes hurt my feet the first few times I wear them, it's like a curse... The particularly 'stubborn' shoes- i fill them with huge, rolled socks and hope the leather will 'give up' a bit- it seems to work after some days.
A friend suggested beating the interior of the shoes with a hammer

, but i'm kinda afraid of doing this ...any other solutions, please? i love shoes even more than imelda marcos did, but they put me through such pains:blush:!

I think you might be slagging of brianw's boot's there - those distressed boots are from line22 i think!! It's very very expensive. Saw them on the browns website. I have to say I didn't think it looked so bad, but haven't seen them in person.

Sorry brian :flower:

Johnny, some of them literally looked like they were taken out of a dumpster and put on a shelf with a $700 price tag (and that's shoes, not boots :ninja: ).

yeah, I have one of those too, from line 22 (boots, though)! (The ones I posted here are 10 - what is line 22?) They ARE overpriced, stupidly overpriced, but I love them! They do look like I found them in a dumpster. Anyway, they work for me!

but I did see some of the other pieces from line 22 and wasn't so excited about them. Here's mine:

Ahh, I thought yours were line 10, since he's been doing these boots forever. Line 22 is the new line devoted solely to shoes and accessories (or even just shoes  ). It's a part of the infusion of money by Diesel.

I'm confused. I thought yours were in the original post?

Faust, the ones I posted at the top are from line 10. You have the same ones? Aren't they great??

the brown ones I just posted are a different pair, from line 22.
And talking about line 22 being so overpriced, the black ones from line 10 I posted at the top were originally priced the same as the ones from 22 but I found them on sale thanks god.

No, I have same-looking ones by Ann Demeulemeester, I was referring to Scott's post :flower: But I've always admired Margiela's version too.

I just reread the pieces above and realize you were talking about someone else's shoes. Oh well!
