I'm surprised there isn't already a thread devoted to this. What does everyone think about the collaboration? I think it will sell out within 5 minutes and will be on ebay with a huge mark-up within 2 minutes.

I've seen Mary Katranzou's dress in person and it is a work of art. Much more intricately detailed than this collab but for 350 pounds it is still a steal.

I agree, this is interesting, i will check it out for sure, since i do like her print dresses. And in October US Vogue there was an interesting article about her process.etc

That dress is stunning. Cannot wait to see more from the collaboration between Katranzou and Topshop. But it looks to me like this is the correct way a collaboration between a designer and a high street shop should be done. Although the dress is quite pricy (and I know I won't be able to afford it still) it's certainly worth it if you can afford to shell out that money.

OOHHH YES!!! FINALLY can get my hands on the pieces! February is too far away!

such an interesting choice for a collaboration... seems her star is definitely on the rise.

Very interesting partnership and one that will definitely bring Mary's creativity and brand awareness to a new level.

is there no thread on this yet? couldnt find any in the search besides this one

Doesn't look like it. As expected, it sold out quite quickly. Of the pieces I saw, it looked great.

people are paying more on ebay for MK for topshop than mainline MK.

she also has a current collaboration with longchamp, FYI. the bags have similar prints to her TS line.

There was literally 1 rack of clothing that the NYC shop received and they spread it over 2 racks to make it look like people had a chance. It wasn't going to happen. If you weren't in the first 15, you weren't getting a dress as you could only buy ONE item. Also they only had 1/2 of each size so if you didn't get a first shot, you were not getting a dress. I got handed a small dress because the medium was already taken and the only reason I ended up getting the medium was because someone wasn't happy with it in the dressing room. I ended up getting 1/5 printed bodycon dresses that were shipped to NYC. The fit was VERY tight and I had to bump up a size, but that was the case for most of the dresses. They weren't made for a more shapely woman with a bust.

The fabric of the bodycon dress was a surprise for me, it was an extremely thick fine rib. The printing could've been alittle more saturated in color but overall the dresses were amazing.

LUCY92 I had my eye on the bodycon dress as my first choice and only saw 1 on ebay in a large. I was tempted to purchase but I told myself to wait and see and if I lose, I lose, I could put it towards a blouse or something from her mainline.

i won an "over-priced" dress on ebay, the tulip/bubble dress. I love dresses that have that structure...I'm a bit scared when you said they run small, I got a small. Let's see when it arrives!

The tulip dress is beautiful, I must admit. Did you get the strapless one or the sleeveless one? My biggest concern was the bust area. Let us know how it works out!
