Massimo Dutti

yes i think they do. the stores here always have some great cashmere scarves almost every f/w season.

I loved Massimo Dutti when i was in the London store!

I purchased a pair of jeans and a dress that everyone still comments on. I don't like the quality though, dress was ok but jeans very bad. Quite expensive as well i thought.

I bought a cashmere printed skirt a few days ago and spotted some nice items but some of of the collection is as expensive as some designers...Thats' insane but then I guess the rent on rue Royale next to Ralph Lauren and Co must be paid somehow...

June 2007 I bought quite a bit of Massimo Dutti stuff - really elegant pieces, and everything I bought was well made and stylish.

I've been back since (I don't have a MD at home, I can only buy it when I go overseas) Feb 2008 and now, and MD seems to be very dowdy and nothing that nice at all, which doesn't justify the high prices they're charging.

Seem a bit sad that I'm possibly the only Massimo Dutti fan still checking out this thread. Their clothes are less trendy and more classic, and their range is smaller than their sister brand Zara, so I can understand why it has more limited appeal. But I adore the quality of their clothes - fabrics and cuts - and they made fantastic basics that I live in. I think most of the time their clothes are well-priced for the quality. I am so in love with this grey coat this season - see here

Oh I have to check what they're doing this season!

I really like what they do but unlike Zara that you find at every corner of the city, the location of their stores in Paris is scarce and not in my favourite arrondissements.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer that because the clothes are less obvious and identifiable than Zara's or H&M's that you can so easily spot.

i think if you like the clean preppy timeless classic look then massimo dutti is great for it..but for seasonal trend pieces i really wouldnt go there. they really do have some lovely bits but i am the kind who would rather pay a bit less and wear something from zara for a season as i know i will get bored of it soon:P

they do have basics of excellent quality: tees, cashmere-mix sweaters, belts...

Most of the time I wouldn't shop there at full price, but will definitely hunt down some basics during sales.

OMG! Just spotted a shearling jacket on their website that looks very promising...

Aby, that is a pretty great jacket, I would love it in black. But cognac is so delicious too.

I love this outfit, though it might look little too much like Ralph Lauren ad. Agree they can some times be a bit too preppy but at mass market level, sometimes there's too much trendy stuff. And their boutiques are so nice to shop in!

I have been stalking this navy blue silk shirt for weeks, and finally bought it today over my lunch break. It also comes in a very on-trend camel, but I prefer navy.

lovely! how much was it? thanks!

Thanks! It was S$115, which is slightly less than 60 euros? Though Massimo Dutti is cheaper in Spain. Or the UAE, if you live there..

the shearling jacket looks gorgeous and it looks so classic compared to other high street versions i have seen of this key trend which makes me think this one will have more wear than any other...i wonder if we will all be fed up of shearling by next winter lol

what?that blouse it's only 39,90€ in Spain anyway it's gorgeous

shearling jacket looks gorgeous!

i love massimo dutti, i always seem to find great stuff there. i bought a lot of gorgeous stuff on sale this summer - and boy did they have some good sale - at the end it was 70% and all i wanted to buy was left in my size! B)

going there tomorrow, so hopefully will come back home fullhanded! :brows:
