I didn't know she had a car accident

late 90s I think. It was a serious crash I believe in a european country.
they actually have tried to keep it quiet/downplay it so it wouldnt affect her work, but actually it tok her like 3 years to recover [visually] and shes been on a modelling comeback for like the last 3 years.

she has several serious facial reconstructions operations/cosmetic surgeries & even though its tried to keep secret, as I understand it her jaw & nose/mouth area were more or less put back together,. you acn see it in some pictutes but not in all.
I liked her mid 90s modelling a lot- fresh danish blonde etc.
since the accident shes become more of a sports illustrated type commercial girl & I simply cant look at her the same way ever again.

I remember she disapeared from catwalks, I didn't know what happened.

Some scars are still visible around her mouth. I don't know how she was after the accident, but I think their plastic surgeons made a good work.

I was wondering -is plastic surgery a big taboo in the modelling world -not after accidents of course but the regular cosmetic kind?

WHAT?!?!? COME AGAIN! That is absolutely unbelievable. I always had this idea that agencies always had it against girls with surgery preferring natural beauty only. I still can't believe it

you would be shocked at how many models have had some type of cosmetic surgery whether body or face.

to say that 50% pf models have had some work done is probably accurate.
the best cosmetic surgery is 'unnoticeable' or subtle.

name any 10 models at random & we/I can tell you if they have been suspected or surgery.

Thanks for the info LadyGrey. I quite like the fact that these women didn't come out of their mamas looking like that! Gives normal women hope ya know. The idea of natural beauty is quite fascist if one thinks about it -who can blame a woman for trying. I have always been quite pro subtle surgery especially if it is on facial features which getting on a treadmill will not change.

Still it is un...believable!
