Megan Fox Dropped from Transformers 3

MB is like Uwe Boll… only with high budget movies! It will make no difference who replaces Meagan’s character the lines will be stupid, the scenes trashy & the plot predictable.

I hate MB for ruining one of my nice childhood memories with the TR movies. I normally don’t have high expectations for popcorn cinema, but still he managed it to disappoint me.

Rosie Huntington wont bring in the guys like Meg, love her or hate her she has one of the strongest male fanbases around. Remember her int he premiere pics of the last one and how much attention she garnered, its like Gwyneth's shoes for the Iron man 1 premieres.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is to replace Megan Fox as the female lead in Transformers 3, it has been confirmed.

It will be a film debut for the Victoria's Secret model, although it won't be the first time Rosie has worked with Transformers director Michael Bay.

Bay and Rosie previously worked together on a Victoria's Secret advert after Ed Razek, chief creative talent at the lingerie and clothing company, drafted Bay in to direct the ad.

Film debut: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, left, is to replace Megan Fox as the female lead in Transformers 3

The model has also begun to move in Hollywood circles after starting to date actor Jason Statham a few months ago.

The smitten 37-year-old Lock Stock actor was pictured grinning from ear to ear as he strolled along a strip in Beverly Hills with the Victoria's Secret model on his arm last month.
The stunning model has previously modelled as the face of Burberry - replacing another successful British model Agyness Deyn

Fox's exit from the film follows a public spat between her and Bay last year, in which she reportedly said he was 'a nightmare' to work for.

The 24-year-old, who played Mikaela Banes in the 2007 billion dollar blockbuster and sequel, insisted that it was her decision not to resume the role.

In an interview with Just Jared, Fox compared Bay to both Hitler and Napoleon.

'He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation,' she told the celebrity website.

'He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is.

'So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward.'

I'm happy for Rosie she got the opportunity to do this. Talent for this role is not required. Rosie should be just fine.

This whole thing is kind of gross to me. I can't read about any of this without thinking about when I read that he had Megan Fox try for the part by washing his car in a bikini. It's like wow, yeah, fairly good way of summing up the role the female lead has in the transformers franchise  It all makes Bay seem like an enormously creepy pervert, how more blatant can you get about how little you care about quality when you're hiring a girl whose job that makes her famous is looking like a pouty sexual-but-virginal underage girl who eats nothing but sliced cucumbers? :yuk:

how come Shia gets all these hot chicks??

I don't think there's anything perverted about him. I've seen Transformers 2 (not really by choice - it was on a plane) and the way women are portrayed in the film is basically conforms to the fantasies of teenage boys.

I wonder if Rosie is going to look the same in the film as she does now :innocent:

That story about putting Megan in a bikini and under a waterfall when she was 15 years old makes him seem perverted and icky.
