Coming as quite the shocker to the franchise's fans, it was reported earlier today that Megan Fox will not be taking part in "Transformers 3". The move comes after the 24-year-old was spotted on the movie's readying set earlier this month, though it now seems as if the May 2nd sighting will be her last when it comes to the "Tranformers" series.

Meh, it's not a huge loss or devastating to her career. Transformers has already established Megan Fox. The public knows her name and her face. Transformers is not some elite, prestigious film with a critically acclaimed director that will get you award nominations (besides Razzies). The reason you take a role in Transformers is a paycheck and to get your big start in Hollywood.

If Megan were still an unknown on Hope and Faith, this would be bad. But casting directors already know her, the public is aware of her, she's got films lined up, she will be fine. And it's not like she's losing a million dollar paycheck (Shia only got $500k and he was more established than Megan).

Also, it's not as easy to "make a star" as one would think (if Michael Bay claims he can make anyone famous). They tried to make Isabel Lucas happen in Transformers 2 and she hasn't really gone anywhere (she had The Pacific before T2).

First of all Shia got 5 million dollars for Transformers 2.He got 500k for the first one.My source being an old Variety.com article.

Now,back to Megan.She is by no mean an established movie star.If she was Jennifer's body would have bombed the way it did.The public know her because of her sex symbol status,same thing for casting directors.She may have films line up but,it's not going to take her anywhere,if those movies keep flopping.

Say what you want about the Transformers franchise.But staring in those type of movies,get you press and help you maintain some sort of relevance (as superficial as it might be).I personally can't see any good Hollywood agent,letting his client leave such an important franchise.And the fact that she was indeed fired,is going to help her getting movie roles.

And third, after Transformers, he co/headlined big projects (Eagle Eye, Indiana Jones). There is no way Megan was making close to what Shia did, especially when the supporting Twilight actors can't command more than $1 million for Breaking Dawn -- and they are pretty much on the same level as Megan (unknowns until they landed the franchise).

I didn't say that not doing T3 is a good, solid career choice; I'm just saying that it is not going to kill her career. Whether she did T3 or not is not going to decide whether her film career succeeds or fails. Just because she's not in T3 anymore doesn't mean no casting director is going to want to hire her ever again.

She comes across as completely crazy and not in a good way.. arrogant, irritating, insincere.. I wish she'd stop talking so much and just do something relevant. if she wants to be like Kate Winslet she should stop speaking so unprofessionally about her career and the people involved in it and start being gracious and doing some proper acting.
