Agencies (and media) are always like this to generate buzz for the models, it's quite poor. How often are girls supposed to be the 'newface of Calvin Klein / Burberry / Ralph Lauren' and end up landing a small gig as (background) models in one of the diffusion lines' campaigns or lookbooks. Or eventually don't show up in any campaign, at all.
