Thanks so much for keeping this thread alive and fresh, runner! I always appreciate your hard work. Those scarves are really really beautiful!

Also as a side note, may I ask, would you know who makes that bag and those boots? :p

forgot to say the scarves in #66 are from Faliero Sarti

not at all Honey~Blade
they are Aristlasia bag and washed buckskin Guidi's

Best scarves are from Bottega Veneta.

What is the difference between 'men' and 'women' oriented scarves other than the fact that some are in women's boutiques and others are in men's boutiques, and some tout 'unisex' claims?

The beautiful scarves posted on this thread so far are almost all pieces that I would wear or make, for men or women. I'm so confused. Perhaps my lack of understanding is based on my own preference for androgynous pieces that can be worn by anyone.

I wonder... if we had a little male/female game of clothing and accessories, what interesting discussions might arise, especially with something as universal as scarves.

I personally don't find any difference...
Maybe the material used to make the scarf?
I see cashmere in more men's scarves than in women's, but I might be wrong.
Also, it's more likely that lace would be used in women's scarves than men's, again I may be wrong.

maybe some of the scarves I posted were not typical mens scarves. but I posted them because Honey~Blade seems to be open-minded as far as I know.

especially some of the last batch from boutique W might look more feminine and make SomethingElse confused.
I just thought it might be good to post them since nearly half of those who see this thread seem to be women in actuality and they seem to like Faliero Sarti.

anyway I'd wear any of them if they were at my disposal, in front of me.
in my opinion, no boundaries in scarves as such.
when you do it, it can make a new reality.
like, when Gaultier, Lang, Jean Colonna, etc did lace for men, that shook some fixed ideas.

Well, I believe fashion is daring, and not conservative.
All of the scarves above appeal to me...
Must obtain.

I LOVE scarves on men! I was quite appalled when I was talking to some male friends and they told me they thought they were too feminine!!

really?? that really caught me off guard..

The Julius scarves look fantastic. I'm going to go and give them a look.

I have an old Ralph Lauren scarf that I've been wearing to work since it's so cold in the mall (I work retail). It belonged to my father and my mother (one of them got it, gave it to the other  ). I absolutely LOVE it and am looking for more Ralph Lauren scarves right now. They may be simple and typical but it is so warm and comfy. Definitely my top scarf right now (but I'm only just getting into scarves so I haven't been able to try out many brands).
