Men's-style shoes for women

I am thinking about getting some men's footwear (lace-ups, brogues, ankle boots) to use for winter with skinny cut pants. I am bored with ballerina flats and am looking to do something new, and I can't wear heels every day . Does anyone have any pictures of this look being pulled off? maybe a collection where this look was used?
