I looked at that cover through the eyes of someone completely unfamiliar with baseball, its myths and legends... and its outfits. It's probably supposed to be physically impressive, but I just laughed aloud. I plead sports ignorance.

I really dislike this cover. What's with the shadows under his eyes, the photographer couldn't get some lighting in? And why overlooking the ocean, why not in a baseball field or something baseball related since he is in uniform? Terribly executed.
