I think its quite crap when gay men are put into a steryotype saying "gay people liek fashion art and cooking' ebcuas its simply not true. Shoving steryotypes on people is wrong becuas youa re trying to force them into something theya re not. This is not to say gay men dount liek theas thigns. But i also think that saying straight men dount like fashion and art is wrong, becuas obviously soem do, but many are conditiond intot hinking a certin way.
I m bisexual, i like art and fashionbut I despise steryotyeps and refuse to play into them.

...Everybody has freedom of speech here, so, dont get mad or offened about it, If I did... whatever
I first heard this term while watching Miss Match a few weeks ago and I wanted to gag then just as much as I do now.
Metrosexuals? Oh please.
I must agree with this statement. Cooking is not a "gay" or "womanly" thing to do. Like PrinceofCats stated, 'cooking' is a tough job that is taken very seriously in Europe and other parts of the world.Originally posted by PrinceOfCats@Nov 19th, 2003 - 4:01 pm
Lele: I don't want to argue either it's simply that Opera, Cooking and Fashion are not parts of gay culture. All of Britain's top chefs are straight, I don't know about America's.

Meet the metrosexual
He's well dressed, narcissistic and bun-obsessed. But don't call him gay.

How do I know? Well, perhaps it takes one to know one, but to determine a metrosexual, all you have to do is look at them. In fact, if you're looking at them, they're almost certainly metrosexual. The typical metrosexual is a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis -- because that's where all the best shops, clubs, gyms and hairdressers are. He might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure as his sexual preference. Particular professions, such as modeling, waiting tables, media, pop music and, nowadays, sport, seem to attract them but, truth be told, like male vanity products and herpes, they're pretty much everywhere.
