Michel Botbol - Stylist

There is surprisingly very little info on the talented and highly influential Michel Botbol but here is what I culled from my magazine archives and tibits I pieced together online.


In 2002 Michel Botbol was named Vice President, Creative Director, Global Fashion Communications" at Ralph Lauren.

"I am very pleased that Michel will be taking on this exciting new role. He's uniquely qualified for the position due to his extensive background in fashion communications and his creative eye. Michel has been an asset to women's design for the past several seasons, and I'm confident that he will bring a similar strength to our fashion communications team," said Ralph Lauren.

Prior to joining Polo Ralph Lauren, Mr. Botbol was Creative Director for Harper's Bazaar under Editor-in-Chief, Kate Betts. Before that, he served as Fashion Editor of Fairchild Publication's W and Women's Wear Daily. Mr. Botbol spent seven years at Fairchild Publications, two of which he was assigned to the Paris bureau.
