Microdermabrasion/ Chemical Peel

Hi All,
This is my first post, but I've been reading this forum religiously for months. :D Anyway, my question is; has anyone tried the microdermabrasion home kits? Specifically, has anyone tried the home kit made by "DermaPower?" From the website, it looks like they use the same type of crystal technology that the spas are using but the home kits are much cheaper. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

i have the loreal at home microderma kit.. i  it!
my friend has a microderma kit from origins and she raves about it..
ive never heard of the dermapower ones though.

I am considering using the NeoStrata Advanced Dermo Systems "At Home Exfoliating Peel System". NeoStrata also offers an "At Home Microdermabrasion System" and an "At Home Acne Peel System". Anyways, has anyone used the 'exfoliating peel', or could anyone provide me with some feedback?

the system/kit is more thoroughly explained at this website: http://www.canderm.com/page.asp?intNodeID=20150

would this type of peel help fade old acne scars, or help fade a tragic facial tan? (sunglasses and crewcut t-shirts can leave terrible tanlines on one's face! )
