is this the same designer as the MY series for Puma?.....first eponymous collection????

my pics would be:
metallic shoes (anybody surprised?)
baggy cargos, but I like them elsewhere more
the painted denim jkt in bot colours is GREAT
love the ruffle (looking shirt) in the 3rd pic

not sure of the moto looking pant....seems kind of done and tired to me:unsure:

thank you, bettlejuice, much appreciated :flower:

not bad, not bad. i love the leather.

spoke too soon...........

3rd pic in post#7--BADASS!!!
every pic in post #8 is great as well

really liking the off center fly on the pants...are those velvet in the salmon-ish colour?....and the skinny pant with seams down the front.........not to sound to perv-y but they do much more for the models crotches than the ones over at Dior H do.....

 the polka dot/solid tie

thanx :flower:

Dior models have crotches?

Oh, btw, Chris, one of the reasons I asked for the pix is that Atelier is picking this guy up starting this season.

^

I'll be interested to see this stuff in person..........I'm sure they will order the moto pants

i like it..thanks for the pics! esp. the green shirt that looks like it's been attacked w/ duct tape, and the open 'space' shirt on post # 3. the last outfit on post #5... very cool exciting stuff.

what bizarre styling......

i like so many pieces but would never put them together that way...
i don't know...

:ermm:

thx for the pics beetlejuice...:flower:

Absolutely, softie!

It's just bizarre. I like a few pieces, but it really does look odd.

I positively hate the shirts with the contrasting colour "v" shape. :ninja:

Thanks once again for a fascinating full collection , beetlejuice :flower:

I really am liking what I see , at last . Pace Lee McQueen , Costume National , and Ferre also in Milan , this collection has GOT IT :-

SOMETHING THAT , FOR ME , DIOR HOMME , PATENTLY HAS NOT , DESPITE HEDI SLIMANE'S EFFORTS AT REPRODUCING THE HOME LIFE OF OUR OWN DEAR PETE DOHERTY .

More power to MIHARA YASUHIRO'S elbow and drawing hand , say I .

JUST COMPARE THIS WITH TAKASHIRO MIYASHITA'S ( I hope that's the right spelling ) NOISOME EFFORTS AT NUMBER (N)INE .

NUFF SAID ..........:innocent:

BTW ,

Isn't the idiosyncratic styling where your typical Japanese quirkiness comes into the picture ?

idiosynchratic yes...
dischordant no...

imho...:flower:

I quite like this collection. As usual, the pants are the best offering from Mihara. If you get to see them in person, they are often very odd, but put together in really interesting ways while still being fairly wearable.

And, I agree with you about Number (N)ine, Kit. Also, I believe his first name is "Takahiro."

John
