Interesting issue!
I like the cover, my favourite editorials are "Kiss the Boat" and "Whiplash Girlchild"....Besides Dioni's editorial looks great, as Dioni always looks great ^_^

the cover says 15€ .... which is really expensive to be sincere .... since it doesn't deliver what i expect for 15€ ....

but that's nice to see that edition isn't dead during the crisis ....
makes me wonder "how mad are they to launch a magazine in this situation ?" ... especially a swimwear fashion magazine ? i mean what is their readers type ?!

some stories are interesting, though ....

their cover font (?) is really (really) Self Service ....

to me Self Service's influence is pretty obvious (from the cover's typo to the art-direction of the shoots), which isn't that bad, just feels a bit repetitious. anyway, it's nice to have a new kid (i mean title) on the block and good luck, Mirage!
but seriously, 15 euro?..

ps i loved Love Not Given Lightly editorial and i must say that Dioni delievers!

my own scans

The End of Mirage Nr.1 January 2009

There was one last editorial that was entirely held in dark brown, impossible to scan.
You barely could notice anything on the originals in the magazine itself.
So just a waste of time.

I left out a few of the intro pages, since that would have taken even longer for me
to get all the scanning over with. (and in my opinion redundant anyway, the intros ..)

So kids, I'd say this was a proper intoduction for a 'new' magazine in the vast and fancy
fashion world, so drop by your mag dealer and fetch it immediately. That ought to be worth
the money.

I for myself, can't wait to see their second issue, my hand will be the first to grab it.

And did i mention it?

Send me a MEGA TON of karma plz, thanks. :>

With regards

durban

and i just upgraded to 'front row' ! me0w :>

Wow! Never heard of that mag before - but it seems to be FABULOUS! :woot: Loving it (or at least, loving this issue ^_^) Thankyou for all the scans durban!

thanks for all the karma guys, makes it worth the effort to see it being apprechiated really 8)

cheers

Thank you durban! You are amazing.

I really like the look of Mirage. Hopefully I can track one down somewhere in Australia.

very cool editorials, and I am excited to hear more about this magazine, and for more issues in the coming months

Oh my effing... This is amazing from head to toes. Thank you so, so much Durban for scanning this.

Damn, I really like this!

hey lovely, can you please correct my name? i shot the dioni story, name is jolijn snijders instead jolijn huinder  thnxx

WOW!! Jolijn! I love the eds you've published in Celeste magazine! Great to have you here.
