ORLANDO Bloom is reportedly preparing to settle down with Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, amid reports he has proposed to her.
Celebrity gossip websites and news websites today have quoted Star magazine's report, which contains details from US insiders, who have claimed Bloom has asked Kerr to be his wife.

Sources have claimed the A-list couple are penning a date in for late next year, after reports the duo were rumoured to be heading towards getting engaged in April.
The Metro newspaper in London reports the claim comes as the actor's agent teased, refusing to comment on the whispers.

Star magazine quotes an insider as saying: "They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year."

"They have had a bit of crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife."

Engagement news comes after the pair were spotted strolling hand-in-hand for a romantic meal at the Primitivo restaurant in LA recently.

It comes after Kerr fought back at rumours they were splitting up

The Victoria's Secret supermodel, who attended the Caufield Cup, said she was very happy with Bloom last month.

"People can write whatever they like," Kerr said.
"It doesn't make any difference to us.
"We know what the truth is, along with our families and close friends. I don't even bother reading some of those reports."
