yeah, but there is a difference between celebrities and us "common" folk. see -- you could give your boyfriend a big hug and a kiss on the patio because you'd know that nobody would notice or care. however, when you are a celebrity, you know that the paparazzi are there - you know that they will be taking your picture. so to make such a public display of affection comes across as staged and intentional. because guaranteed that both Orlando and Miranda knew that the result of their little frolic here would be the whole "Orlando Bloom shirtless on balcony, smooching with Miranda" tabloid stories.

That seems a bit silly to me While I could be wrong, it's just my opinion that they are acting like a normal couple when they think their in the privacy of their own balcony, they don't act like that every single time when they go out

I'm going to agree with kalyn on this one. We saw something similar when they were in that glass shop in Venice, were they didn't know the paps were there. I think they are perfectly entitled to do as they want without having to worry about paps getting pics of them. I understand if they do it like in the middle of the street, were it's more obvious their pics will be taken, but not when they are in the balcony of their hotel room. And no, I really don't think that they knew the paps were there or that all the tabloids would make stories of them, paps usually use long lenses that allow them to take pics from far away, and we can se from the quality of these pics that they were taken at a significant distance.

Okay, so you honestly believe that miranda is using orlando for fame? and this relationship is based on publicity? if so, then this relationship would have ended ages ago! she could have been more famous with just being one of orlando's hot flings, or hell, they would have done WAY worse stuff together to get media coverage and fame, or whatever.
In what way are orlando bloom and Miranda "publicizing" there relationship as Isabel said, its obvious the photographer took the photo from quite a distance, how were orlando and miranda supposed to know that they were being photographed above sea in a highfloor hotel balcony when they usaully get photographed in the streets and such again, it was all very sneaky, and they seem to have geniune feelings for eachother, you can tell by the way they look at eachother.

But, if you want to believe there relationship is based on publicity, then go ahead. I just believe miranda and orlando have more dignity and sense, afterall, Love >>> fame. period.

part of the unfortunate side of being famous, especially very famous like Orlando, is living with the knowledge that you have to be aware of everything you do in public. because someone can always see. whether it's a paparazzi or just a kid with a cellphone camera. it doesn't matter. perhaps Orlando and Miranda just don't give a $#!T and figure that they'll act however they want. but they make that decision still knowing that when they kiss on the balcony, shirtless, they'll likely be photographed doing so. just as they were LAST time, when we all saw Orlando's naked butt. haha. (**and keep in mind - this isn't a balcony in some random city in europe somewhere. this is in Sydney - the major city of the home country of Miranda. they've had photogs on them 24/7 since they arrived at the airport**)

that's the only point i was trying to make. they knew and so it appears to be a publicity stunt. whether it actually is or not, who can know but them?

i for one don't really care if they are or are not publicising their relationship...they appear to be genuinely in love and happy and that's what is fundamental...for me, whether they choose to have a little fun with photographers or not, it doesn't bother me - it's their relationship

but as celebrities and having dealt with the papparazzi numerous times before, they would know only too well that they'd be lurking around...miranda has said numerous times that they annoy her and has recounted experiences where they just follow her pretty much anywhere and everywhere e.g. the time where they were discretely taking pics of her topless by the poolside in this private, secluded location

Well i just want to say that while i may not agree with what some people think about this, i do understand where they're coming from. But I do want to point out that tabloids will write whatever they want just to get people to buy the mag, so just because they use Orlando's name or talk about their relationship on almost every cover, that doesn't mean that it's Miranda's doing. (almost the very same thing happened to Kate B. when she was dating Orlandoinnocent:

wow geee.. I think its kinda crazy how a few kissy kissy- huggy huggy pictures can cause such a debate... Its their lifes and they can do what ever they want with them! I think people should really stop being judge mental towards celebrities. They are people too you know. and I'm sure you wouldn't like the whole world debating about your lifes..
