i was stunned to find out Miranda was 27!! Im not a huge fan so I dont follow her that much unless its VS work.
does anyone know when , at what age she got into mainstream fashion?

her face is very young and fresh, i feel like she will keep that look for longer than some models do.
i also remember watching an inteview on E! recently about her obsession with yoga and other ways to stay healthy. maybe that plays a big role for her perfect physique..

Well she won the DOLLY model comp at the age of 13 if I remember correctly. But she mainly focused on school for a few years after that. She did work for Australian brands for a while before she moved to NY. And from then she just grew and grew.

^Yep you're right Helen. She went international when she was around 19-20.

But, yeah, she does have that youthful look that should keep her going longer in the industry. Her mum also looks a lot younger then what she is, it could be genetic!

Thank God, at least for a couple of shoots, she has gotten away from Victoria Secret, the "body armor of lingerie" company. Since joining VS/SI, she has gone from being an exotic supermodel to just another pretty face in a bathing suit.

Inka, In the very beginning of this video you can see how she looked like when she first landed to NY, and went international. (and you can catch her earlier work with Maybeline and Portmans) Just a doll...

@AnPam23@munusername it's not just this interview guys. there was one interview she did with doutzen just before vsfs 2009 aired. she kept cutting doutzen off too and wouldn't let her talk...
