Miranda Kerr

We can't wait to start our family says Miranda Kerr

In today's Herald Sun (Melbourne, Aus) on page 3 and she has a cute shoot too. If the photos don't pop-up online sometime soon I'll scan them.

SUPERMODEL Miranda Kerr has talked publicly for the first time about her engagement to Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom, her dilemma over where the glamour couple will wed and rumours she is pregnant.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Herald Sun the face of David Jones has revealed that she was genuinely shocked when Bloom, her boyfriend of four years, finally popped the question.

"We have been together for a while now and we had talked about it, but when it actually happened it was a total surprise."

While she says one day she hopes to become a mother, the 27-year-old brunette beauty has quashed rumours she is pregnant.

"The rumours started as soon as soon as it became known we were engaged. We are ignoring them and enjoying this moment.

"I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day and I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad."

The notoriously private pair have remained tight-lipped since their engagement was officially announced through their US agent three weeks ago.

CUB has sent the couple a slab of personalised Crown Lager. On the label, it says: "Miranda & Orlando - Congratulations on your engagement!"

But now the attention turns to the couple's big day and speculation has been rife as to where they will tie the knot.

Kerr's hometown of Gunnedah has been buzzing, with Mayor Adam Marshall offering to put on a parade with the town's award-winning band.

"The town would love to host a good old country wedding to celebrate a local girl made good. There is no better place to hold it," Mr Marshall said.

But the model says she and Bloom are undecided as to where and when they will wed.

"We have family and friends all over the world, so deciding where is a tricky one," she says.

"We are enjoying being engaged for the time being and will take our time in making any plans. We are both very private so would like it to be intimate and personal."

But Kerr says she's been touched by the response her engagement has engendered in her hometown.

"It's so sweet. It's nice to feel the support of your home town," she says.

Kerr will return to Australia this month to prepare for the David Jones summer collections launch on August 3 and the opening of the retailer's renovated Bourke St store in Melbourne on August 12.

But hopes of an engagement celebration with family and friends have been dashed, with Kerr confirming her 33-year-old fiance will not make the trip Down Under with her.

"Sadly not. He will be shooting a movie."

Nevertheless Kerr says she's excited to be coming home.

A sneak peak at the David Jones Spring/Summer 2010 line from The Sunday Telegraph. Excuse the quality of the scans but it's from a newspaper.

And a more gossipy article from the same paper which may or may not have a new picture.

I dunno about these, some of these pics are so beautiful, but then others make her almost look short and stumpy :(

I agree. Some dresses are nice, others just make her look older than she really is.

I've never been a fan of her DJ's catalog work. Most of these shots are just simply terrible. :ermm:
However, the airport pics are cute!

Thanks for posting, everyone. :flower:

Not my favorite shoot, but some of the shots are quite nice.
The clothes seem to be either hit or miss.
Not liking that lavander-ish frocky thing they had her wear.
Love the stripped trouser-suit thing though.

I've liked her DJs ads in the past but this season is a no. Chris usually photographs her so beautifully.:( Last season was bad also.-_-
She does look a bit 'full'. But thankfully she's denied those pregnancy rumours.

Either way, I can't wait for the DJs tour.:p

New Miranda post on Russell James' facebook:

‘The week that was’ shooting for Victoria's Secret in New York. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took time off from shooting ‘Transformers 3’ to make our shoot, Miranda Kerr had a tight shoot schedule to get to Europe that night and Gracie De Carvalho had some unexpected company in the hair and make-up. PHOTO TIPS ATTACHED. Happy Weekend!

Miranda Kerr. Without a drop of retouch at any given time her skin is just amazing to shoot. She puts a lot of that fact down to her ‘Kora’ products that she really does live by. You can find Kora at www.koraskincare.com.au

Miranda Kerr and client Niki Baratta check out the monitor. The digital age adds preure to the photographer-the clients and models can get immediate access to my shots-tests my insecurities! Some days I close the area off depending on what I’m shooting, some film can ook rough until you get the chance to apply the right curves

First ad for VS Cotton Lingerie. It really is that small.:(

Not a huge fan of the TV spot. There isn't a massive amount of expression in her face. I want the campaign now though!:woot::doh:
