 at the lost luggage, especially the wedding dress.

I haven't had it happen to me and I did not travel on American, but this is my two cents from when I traveled:

  • How was it lost? non-stop flight? plane change? international flight?
  • What did the airline say, e.g., do they think someone picked it up by accident or do they think it got mis-routed and is still in their system?
  • Was the luggage unique looking or the kind of luggage that everyone has? For future reference, if you have ubiquitous luggage, try to make it distinctive, even if you have to put brightly colored Christmas ribbon or yarn on the handle or zipper loops or something.
  • I know that unclaimed luggage gets sold eventually, and since quite some time has passed, she (or her assistant) needs to be pestering AA about it every day. She needs to pester them to the point where she will be transferred out of the general customer service center and to baggage handling / lost luggage, the goal is to get someone to actually go to the place where unclaimed luggage is stored and look for her luggage.
  • If it was a multi-leg flight, then she needs to speak to baggage handling at each of those stops. Also, if old tags were on the luggage, then she needs to be in touch with that airport too. For example, if the flight in question was from New York to Los Angeles with a stopover in Chicago, and the previous week she went from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the tags were still on, then she needs to be in touch with the baggage handling folks in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Also IIRC, Dallas and Chicago are AA's hubs, and maybe San Francisco, so she should first "retrace" her steps, which will hopefully be successful, but if not then fan out to the hubs.
  • Since she is a celebrity and is married to a celebrity, I wonder if LAX (or the airline) has some kind of concierge or VIP point person, if so, she should contact them and see what advice they have.

You should get a job with an airline! that was thorough! thx for sharing. I hope she gets her luggage back.

Also, did anyone read the comments at the bottom of the link posted about Miranda's pregnant shoot? Awful comments Grrrr. I think she looks great.

I'm with Belowen. I think any one who knows of Miranda Kerr is definitely going to try and sell her dress. How awful. Best wishes to her for getting it back!

I have a feeling it'll turn up.

ah! the shot from W is lovely. can't wait to see it bigger.

Model Kerr Lists Jade Condo
Now that she is married, Miranda Kerr, the Australian supermodel, has put her one-bedroom condo in a stylish, mostly singles building in the Flatiron District on the market for $1.395 million, brokers said.
Ms. Kerr, 27 years old, married Orlando Bloom, the 33-year-old British actor and Hollywood leading man, in a private ceremony in July. She is now living in Los Angeles with Mr. Bloom and in August, she confirmed that the couple is expecting a baby.

Ms. Kerr owns a corner apartment on the 10th floor of the Jade, on West 19th Street off Fifth Avenue. The condo has floor-to-ceiling windows and two Juliet balconies.

The Jade, an unusual loft-style conversion of a 12-story office building, is named for Jade Jagger, a designer and daughter of Mick and Bianca Jagger. Jade Jagger helped both design it and to create a marketing buzz for the units to appeal to younger New Yorkers.

Condos in the building were offered for sale in 2006, during an era when new developments sold themselves based on celebrity, lifestyle and branding. That approach fell out of favor amid a correction in Manhattan condo prices.

Ms. Kerr's loft-style condo—like most of the 57 apartments in the building—includes a central pod, a glossy free-standing cube in the center of the apartment that contains an efficiency kitchen and bathroom.

The cube located in her apartment has an oversized shower with a glass wall facing the middle of the 26-foot-wide living room.

She signed a contract to purchase the apartment for just under $1.1 million in 2006, according to property records.

The apartment purchase came soon after the building went on the market, as her modeling career began to take off in New York. She has gone on to become a featured Victoria's Secret model.

Ms. Kerr also is marketing her own line of organic skin-care products under the name Kora

In Los Angeles, Ms. Kerr now lives with Mr. Bloom in the four-bedroom home he purchased in 2007 for $2.75 million, according to property records.

The listing of Ms. Kerr's New York condo, by Jaf Glazer of Conquest Advisors, notes the Flatiron building includes two floors of terraced space for residents that were added to the top of the building. The space includes a reflecting pool and soaking tubs, a fitness room and a Moroccan-themed lounge.

Ms. Kerr's condo is 904 square feet and the asking price works out to $1,543 per square foot.

Mr. Glazer said he has received several inquires from "our foreign network" in the first week the apartment was on the market from buyers looking for a pied-à-terre.

"Markets come and go, but good product always sells," he said.

Although the Jade has a handful of family-size apartments, most are one-bedrooms and studios and were initially marketed for buyers in their 20s and 30s, brokers said.

She said on her facebook that she has done a "few" shoots whilst pregnant. So, I guess we have some more to look forward to.

As soon as I saw this, I instantly thought back to Natalia Vodianova's shot in VP. Both shots are by Demarchelier , I guess that's why their both identical.
Such a beautiful shot.

That picture is stunning. Her body looks so great, not all pregnant ladies look like that at this point of pregnancy

She looks otherwordly in that Demarchelier picture, I love the emotion captured there. Natalia's pic is gorgeous as well.
