Ohh great this thread is already mourning her not returning and it hasn't even been a month since she gave birth

We're discussing whether or not she will return to modelling because she has given evidence that she won't, not complaining we haven't had a photoshoot postpartum. I wouldn't even like to see a shoot with her this soon after, but I would like to see her return eventually. Is that bad?

I never said anyone was complaining, I clearly said "mourning" which has nothing to do with complaining. There is nothing wrong with discussing it, it just makes reading the tread kinda sad. I don't want to think about her leaving the modeling scene until we have a official statement that thats what she's doing.

^Well, when she hints in recent articles (W, Vogue) that she wants to stop modeling - there will be some discussion about it. Obviously the discussion will lack a bit of substance since - as you said - it's not 'official' (she's still with IMG, etc, etc) but I don't think there's anything wrong with discussing what is so clearly hinted. I personally think that it's all talk and no walk. It's easy for her to say she wants out, but at the end of the day, she does need modeling to keep her image out there to sell her products.

^Well for her products to sell in Australia she'll only need to work for David Jones. Their ads are everywhere.

If she wants to go international, bb's gonna have to keep modeling because that's the only thing keeping her relevant. She's only known for Orlando elsewhere.

I'm intrigued to know if she'll turn up at Balenciaga this season. She probably won't though.

That was more accurate two years ago. I don't think I can say the same now.

She hasn't missed a Balenciaga RTW show since her debut. I doubt she'd miss one now since she seems very loyal to Nicolas.

Honestly Kito? Over here and the UK she's still Orlando's missus.

Yeah, in the UK - I don't doubt that. But in the past year, with all her success and achievements, Miranda should have made a steady name for herself elsewhere.

In Latin America is pretty known for been Orlando's girlfriend-now bride- too, over here nobody really cares or dont really know much HF or Victoria's Secret, so how could she be known otherwise? (at least in Chile happens that way, if she appears in the news is only because it involves something with Orlando)

But i get your point Kito, she's more known now that a couple of years ago, but still i dont think it's enough.

Miranda's known for being a VS girl, not for being Orlando's other half. That certainly added to her exposure, but it doesn't mean she wasn't famous before that.

^ Thank you. I find it hard to believe that a model with a lucrative VS contract and overall exposure can *only* be known for dating an actor. But anyways.

To be honest I had no idea who she was before she started dating him. Now she's everywhere, but it's usually related to him as well. I think she's definitely making more of a name for herself, but still... she definitely has a lot more under her belt now though and she's obviously making her way. In the fashion world she's clearly on the top, but in the non-fashion world she's still mostly OB's model wife.

I saw some candids of Orlando with their baby on tumblr - so cute ^_^ Congrats to both of them

MIRANDA Kerr has been rated the most desirable Australian girl on the planet by readers of a men's lifestyle website.

The Sydney-raised model was voted number five in AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women, which was topped by Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

Actresses Mila Kunis and Sofia Vergara and model Selita Ebanks made up the remaining top five places in the annual poll.

Other Australian honorees included Abbie Cornish (33), Rose Byrne (51), Rachael Taylor (65) and Natalie Imbruglia (87).

But models Megan Gale, Emily Scott, Jennifer Hawkins and singer Sophie Monk failed to make the cut after featuring in last year's poll.

Other beauties also missing this year are Jessica Simpson and Heidi Klum.

More than five million votes were cast after readers were asked to rank the women who best represent their ideal girlfriend or wife.

Kerr jumped five places from number ten since the last annual survey, during a year in which she has been mostly pregnant.

The top ten are:

1. Blake Lively

2. Mila Kunis

3. Sofia Vergara

4. Selita Ebanks

5. Miranda Kerr

6. Cheryl Cole

7. Scarlett Johansson

8. Katy Perry

9. Anne Hathaway

10. Jessica Pare
