haha I remember how she first got into modelling by winning the Dolly mag model comp - she was really cute and pretty, but she was nothing special back then. She's gotten really good though, alot better at posing for photos and her body is amaaazing

Side note, anyone else from Australia reckon that the Girlfriend model comp winners always seem to do alot better than the Dolly ones? Alyssa Sutherland etc

Just out of interest was Miranda tall when she won the Dolly comp?

I've noticed that girlfriend doesn't seem to see talent..they more see good looks...but i thought that Abby Lee had definite look of the moment and shes doing well (she had an ed in aus vogue..the circus one)

anyway hasn't dolly stopped doing their comp?

haha yeah, when she won I was deep in my Dolly phase. I remember also that there was some controversy, as she was about 13 at the time and she posed for a pic where she was supposedly naked and wrapped in a cardigan, and the text said "The cardi's full of surprises!" Probably not the most appropriate thing in the world, but obviously not that big a deal. Anyway, Dolly was criticised on A Current Affair, or some other bastion of quality journalism over the issue.
