Miranda's the model hostess - With mates like these ... Miranda Kerr, driving, takes her Gunnedah friends, left to right, Vanessa Gallen, Brooke Ross and Lauren Ramien for a spin.

MODEL Miranda Kerr has swapped the bright lights of New York for the North Coast village of Valla Beach at a reunion of family and friends.
The Victoria's Secret "angel" gave The Sun-Herald an exclusive invitation to the party at the only pub in the town near Nambucca Heads.
Without a scrap of make-up and wearing a casual summer dress, Kerr looked relaxed and could not stop grinning as she sat down to a dinner of fish and chips last week.


The 24-year-old said she was loving being back in Australia. Several relatives travelled from her home town of Gunnedah for the big catch-up, but there was no sign of her rumoured boyfriend, Orlando Bloom. (personal note: He's still in LA - babyjane) There is talk the actor could soon be on his way to Sydney to meet the brunette beauty.


Kerr was overhead saying, "Baby, I wish you were here with me now" in a phone conversation as she arrived at Sydney Airport.
Proving she has not let her fame go to her head, Kerr invited her three childhood best friends to her low-key party. But there was a touch of glamour when she took her mates for a spin in her convertible.
