I feel like she's being doing just fine in commercial work. She had that big campaign in Australia with that one company... the name escapes me right now because I don't live there. But anyway, I think she's great for commercial work but I really, really am not convinced of most of the stuff they're making her do or the hype that's slowly surrounding her. Do you know what I mean? I adore Kerr but still!
I agree. I think at this point she has to take her exposure with VS (literally and figuratively) to translate into other opportunities
outside of Australia. Just because you become a VS Angel doesn't mean that you become a household name outside of your country. Take for instance, Izabel Goulart who I

. She's popular in Brazil, and I know I'll see her in VS ads, but do my friends even know her name when they see a photo of her? No, but they know Adriana, Ale, Karolina.
She's done a lot of work in Australia. She was the face of Portmans for a while, and I loved the ads with her in it, she was absolutely stunning in them. And flipping through old vogues, she's done a lot of runway work during Australian fashion week. So she may not have been out there in the US sense, but she's been working a lot in Australia, lol.
Well, and I think that's the point - it's fine if you're insinuated into national brands, but when you really don't have a lot of crossover internationally - and really aren't put out there on international campaigns, then you have a hurdle to jump over to extend your fan base. I do recall her competing with Megan Gale

and Jennifer Hawkins

for a couple of campaigns...and by virtue of being Miss Universe, even though Jennifer probably hasn't done as much - people will recognize her more so than Miranda.
And of course, it should be noted that I

Miranda and certainly wish her well...but I'd like to see her develop a portfolio of work that can make her an international figure, whether it be commercial or high fashion...
