The dress doesn't look bad ( her style, kind of) but definately not at this event. She looked tacky in this dress and the make up done by VS but all in all she was not invited anyway so didn't have to look that good. But I love the shoes.
It's not only Miranda, there were many bad dresses, actually only a few were outstanding, as everyone says (Diane Kruger, Kate Bosworth, Jesica Stam )

I don't get all the 'tacky' comments. The dress is daring, obviously, but it's Jil Sander - not BabyPhat. She hasn't got her boobs out, you can't see her underwear, the only thing showing is her ribs and glints of her thigh? I call that sexy, not tacky.

I think the dress design can only look good on a rare few, and Miranda pulls it off so well. Even with as much skin as you see, it's not like she's revealing more than she would while wearing a bikini! To me she looked amazing and wore one of the riskiest outfits at the event, but still maintained a glamorous appeal. Anyway, a few close-ups because I can't stop staring at my favorite Angel.
