Miranda Kerr

Knots of nervous schoolgirls and bright-eyed young guys filled out the womenswear level of David Jones in Brisbane's CBD today as supermodel Miranda Kerr proved why she's worth millions.

The Victoria's Secret Angel, partner of Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom and All Hallow's old-girl said she was happy to be back in Brisbane but tired from travel.

Sporting plenty of jewellery but no engagement bauble, Kerr explained the hectic DJs Spring/Summer promotional tour left little time to relax.

"These past days have been hectic but that's the industry," the waif said of the constant travelling and talking. "Sometimes all I want to do is stop and take a shower!"

As mum Therese sat sipping coffee away from the bright catwalk lights, Kerr said that it was a big help having the support of her family and loved ones on the road.

"I'm very lucky and I love what I'm doing," she said before complying with journalists' demands for a trademark Kerr wink. "Everyone's getting winks today," she laughed.

However hopes for a secret scoop on how mere mortals might emulate her superstar looks were dashed as the self-confessed fitness junkie said her killer physique came from hard work and good food.

"I just make sure that I'm putting organic food into my body and getting plenty of exercise and being in the moment," a wide-eyed Kerr explained. "I feel that it's really important to have a healthy outlook and life and I'm sure that's how I would be even if I wasn't in this industry."

She also said it was important for young girls to have a positive body image and not compare their looks unfavourably with others.

Self-affirmation was a vital part of her confidence and trade-mark dimples said Kerr.

"It's just so important to keep smiling," she said.

oh no! The fake tan...the hair..terrible! It makes her look all the one shade (some dirty beige colour) and really does her no justice..

^ don't agree, she looks 26. She has that babyface what could make her look younger, but she has that mature look which makes her look like 26..but that's not old ;) doutzen, emanuela and marisa they all look older.. Adriana, Miranda, Ale & Heidi look like the age they are..

It Is sweet. Miranda looks so supportive, like really mature. She's a really nice role model for girls, because she's one of the few famous models who havent become absolutely big headed or insane. Look at Naomi, Kate and Linda/

And that`s great. Fashion biz is only place where anyone even dares to say that 25 year old is too old. Miranda`s appearance is funny mix of maturity and baby face, I wouldn`t confuse her with 16 year old but still I don`t know what age to pick =D

If people would say she's younger I'd believe it, but if people would say she's 26 I would believe it either!

I agree, I wouldn't have guessed 26 if I didn't know her age.^_^

Nanda honey, those were posted a few pages back.:flower:
