No, I agree with you on that. It's getting very repetitive, I agree. But as Mahalia said, it's catalog.
But, I'm happy as long as we get something new. (Which always seems to be VS) I really hope IMG pushes her for more work, they have a potential huge modeling star in there hands.

I'll admit that I'm not such a die-hard fan as the two of you are ( I have other model-opssesions, so I totally get it! 
) but I like Miranda a lot and seeing her do the same all over and over and over again i making me loose interest and I think it's somewhat sad. As I said in my post above: she could do so much better than that. I just wish she would.

If she were doing a spread in i-D shot by I&V and she was doing these poses, I would agree with you. But she's not - she's doing catalog. It's not about how innovative the styling and posing can be - she's trying to sell a bikini to the average American woman. That's why she's frolicking on a beach.
I'm all for critiques, and it's not because I'm 'obsessed' with her. You're calling her out on something she was told by her client to do. It's not meant to interest you, it's a catalog.

I think you are getting me a bit wrong. I know what she is selling and I know what it takes to do that and she is doing it well. Very well indeed. But it is still always the same. She proved that she can sell a bikini, she proved that she can look sexy naked, on the beach, in PJs, in underwear, in whatever have you that leaves 2 thirds of her uncovered - because she has a great body and is almost naked in every shot. How about stepping away from that and and do something different for once? Balenciaga was a good start. I wish she'd just leave VS behind and explore her opportunities. I feel a little helpless right now because I don't really know how to explain what I want to say. But "leaving VS behind" kind of sums it up quite well.

A long while ago, I use to think Miranda was just simply a commercial model, I used to think she was too pretty, too cute for HF (Isn't that what everyone use to think?
). But she has proven herself to be versatile. She is a VS angel, of course you're going to mainly see Catalog work from her. (And her contract with them limits her from doing more things)
Sure she can leave VS behind (Sure she can leave her million dollar contract behind
), but if she VS offers her another contract, do you think her agency is going to say, 'No, Miranda, people are getting bored with Catalog work, do some HF.' ? 
It's not her fault. And I think that's the saddest thing about being a VS angel, it really limits your work opportunities.

Did she renew with VS? Didn't she sign before Marisa? If she's still on the website and shooting with VS regularly she must have renewed her contract.. wasn't hers a 3 year contract as well?

WerbowyStegner, Yep, she signed a 3 year contract with VS. She was signed at the end of 2006. Which means her contract must have been long gone. They either re-signed her or continue to use her regularly.
