Miranda Kerr

I feel like I've seen this dress a hundred times... :ermm:

She looks lovely though. Thanks everyone for the news and pics.

i really really like her style, especially her street style but as a model i find her pretty forgettable

From Miranda's official face book page

been working like crazy on a lot of high fashion stuff and it has been really busy, but great
Oh, yes please, randa bb! :D

I'm not the biggest fan of Miranda's career and now I know why-she was meant for HF not lingerie!! She looks great in Numero.
Surely HF is like driving a Ferrari? She cannot go back to the pick up truck that is VS??

She's just super versatile. ;)

I think Miranda (or rather her agency) is trying to build her as a brand. Not necessary switch to HF, but rather expand to HF. Miranda herself said it was nice to have variety in her work. And with a renewed VS contract + all this HF work, she's climbing to the top..

What? In terms of both career and money, Commercial is the Lamborghini. HF is the pushbike. It's awesome that Miranda is dabbling in HF, coming from a commercial background, I hope she continues to climb and straddle the line. After all, HF just makes you the 'model' part, but commercial provides the 'super' prefix.

Pushbike:lol: Great post!

I think it really depends what Miranda is looking for. I mean commercial work pays BIG $$$. If that is what she is after she is doing a great job. Although I do love seeing her in HF :)

^ I think like any other model out there she probably wants the best of both worlds and she pretty much has achieved that. That is the ultimate goal of a supermodel to conquer both commercial and hf and she is inching closer to that accomplishment.

If you're metaphors have to be cars, then commercial is a Rolls - plush, comfortable, but after a few rides, boring. High Fashion is the Lamborghini. Beautiful, exciting - a rocketship that can take you anywhere.

^ your opinion. Even hf gets boring if done all the time. I actually enjoy seeing the commercial appeal of the models, and by commercial I mean not just pictures or catalog work but rather the interviews and appearances that come with it where you actually get to know the person better. High fashion offers creativity of course, but commercial offers fame, money and has a more personable appeal. They are both needed and both balance each other quite well.

Hahaa @ your funny metaphors :D My opinion is that I just want to see their pictures, because I enjoy watching them. Other than that they pretty much have no use for me. So more my fav VS girls work, the more I see them. I don`t mind what it is. Usually I fall in to the commercial side, because the models are prettier. Even better if these beauties get hf, "super"models are so exciting!

I'm just happy to get something else than the same old bikini-on-a-beach pictures and tacky GQ spreads. Commercial modeling might get you rich and famous but if you're looking for creativity it won't take you anywhere. She's been underselling herself for far to long.

Photographed by Sam Bisso, ... Oh my, oh my, oh my.. :crush:

thanks to Mehdi, bellazon
