http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/03/18/LVL91I6GO2.DTL-- Guests are flying in from near and far for the Balenciaga retrospective opening at the M.H. de Young Museum on March 24 - among them Southern California designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, actor Orlando Bloom and wife Miranda Kerr;
http://www.myspace.com/everything/video/2011/03/23/miranda-kerrs-favorite-moviesThe lovely Miranda Kerr shared some of her favorite movies of all time with us, so we mashed them up! In this mashup you'll see:
'Romeo + Juliet,' a film Miranda calls 'the greatest love story ever,' and another love story, 'Forrest Gump.' She's also a big fan of the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk the Line,' so we included one of the most romantic scenes from the film.
On the inspirational front, Miranda loves 'It's a Wonderful Life' and calls the film a 'thought provoking, feel-good movie.'
When Miranda wants to have a good time, she's reaching for comedies like 'The Big Lebowski,' or 'The Breakfast Club.'
And of course she's got a major soft-spot for hubby Orlando Bloom's heroic turn as Legolas in 'The Lord of the Rings' so we included one of his most memorable scenes from 'Return of the King.' Bet she can't wait for him to reprise the role in the upcoming prequel, 'The Hobbit!'
Do any of Miranda's favorite movies make your list? Let us know in the comments!

Also, the Balenciaga event that she is supposed to attend is tomorrow. I hope she attends and we get heaps of pictures. Another event where she gets to bump shoulders with Anna W, aye.![]()
