Miranda Kerr

Miranda seemed very petite next to high and elegants models as Karlie, Jac, Frida ... I feel that this runway as a celebrity, not a model, its presence on the show is very, very commercial. I can see my friend crazy screaming fan Kerr: Oh, Miranda was at Dior, it's amazing! (What the hell is Dior?) And the press: The wife of Orlando Bloom and supermodel Miranda Kerr was in the fashion show of Christian Dior ... :lol:

i think she would've rocked one of the shorter dresses. the evening gown looked like it was too long for her and made her look tiny vs taller models like Magda and Karlie.

still great to see her at Dior and hopefully more, like Lanvin & Chanel.

^ I was just about to say that. Who doesn't know Dior? And of course Miranda is going to seem petite next to Karlie and Frida - they're over 6 ft tall.

Anyways, she looks so so so amazing at Dior! :heart: I'd love to see her walk more shows.

My friend is a man, argentine and silly, so that fashion is not interested. :p

so in other words he could've said the same thing for every other model, such as those "high and elegant" girls like Karlie that you mentioned...which really makes me wonder what your point is.

@Rosary

I don't think Miranda was at Dior because she is a celebrity lol, please. Miranda was a model well before she was even with Orlando. I don't understand why people hate to see VS models like Miranda doing the HF shows, if casting directors like them what's the issue. I guess it's ok when the HF models are doing the VS catalogue though :lol:

She looked breathtaking at the show. :heart:
Honestly, I first noticed Miranda in S/S 06, when she did Blugirl, and I felt a little sorry for her because she had a very commercial look that was impossible to mold into something more 'conceptual', I "knew" she wouldn't go very far.. well, I'm eating my words right now, it's truly amazing how she's directed her career just the way she wants to, she found other doors to kick and came back to fashion from the very top, as a star - the way she walks Balenciaga one season and Dior on the next one is not a "celebrity" appearance like Rosary mentioned, not at all, if her appearances resemble any other model's, it might be an overstatement to some, but that is Gisele's.. she's the only model that since 2002 has done one or two shows with lots of hype and looking completely different to models.. perhaps yes, you can read 'celebrity model' in their eyes and the way they pose, and they are, but they've also proven to be remarkable models AND businesswomen and that's what sets them apart from other girls backstage that are full-time models.. and hardly much else. To me, Miranda is an example of someone that calls her own shots in a business where women rarely have the chance to.

Oh, and can I just say it, her body is rocking!!. I'm putting pictures of her at the Dior store on my fridge. :lol:
