Miranda Kerr

That video in 428 is nauseating. And I was just beginning to tolerate her personality! Post 429 so true!

^ I feel the same about most reactions, even the ones towards the video in post 428 .. I don't know, maybe I've followed models for too long (and was admittedly into the whole VS crap around 2001-2005) that if anything it's just standard model behavior for me, the not so heartfelt niceness, the attempt to emit permanent excitement even though they seem really out of it at one point. It seems Miranda just graduated in the 50 castings a day school.. except she kept the mode on as a businesswoman.

Then again, I do have high tolerance for the flirty/sl*tty type of gal.. most women detest them but I always found them funnier/less threatening than the often popular -_- type..

Oh, I just don't dig the "look at me" and the bragging. There's a way to talk about what you've done without sounding conceeded. I don't mind flirtatious women, but when it's just so clearly fake and over the top it starts to wear thin, epecially when you want to be painted as a down to earth country girl tomboy. Although I guess now she was also a gymnast.

That Mango video sure is awkward. She obviously was running out of things to say. And what she said is so general: "brand for powerful women", "embracing femininity"...I mean, those things are said about almost every brand out there. It's like she's not completely familiar with the brand and just throwing random niceties applicable to everything she endorses.

On a side note, she's sooo terribly gorgeous I can't even believe she's real.

Ahahah  at that Mango video! "I like to wear...pants, tights..."

I love how she pimps Kora every chance she gets too. I wonder if it's actually selling well? And with regard for the video at #428, their was a BI recently about an image-obsessed supermodel that tips the paparazzi when she goes out :innocent:

I've been using her Kora stuff for more than two years now and it's done nothing to nourish my skin. I've been using it that long because the products have still lasted me -- all my stuff is of the old original branding. I only use the cleanser and the mist spray every so often because it smells so good, otherwise I wish I'd saved my money and just bought more of my regular skin-care products from The Body Shop that actually do revive and refresh my skin.

I work at David Jones and it isn't flying off the shelf at my particular store

God I love that scarf, and her blouse. I really do like what she wears even when it's not to my personal style taste. I'd still want to raid her closet. Everything always looks so crisp and clean.

I think Kora's not selling because it's way too expensive and then if you're not in Australia you have to pay another $30 in shipping which just isn't worth it imo.

imo her wardrobe is not outstanding. each of her clothing piece is basic item. the reason she stands out from the crowd is her cute face and model's body.

^But she does know how to jazz up with accessories. :flower: Yes she's not exactly blogger-fabulous but out of all models (excluding Kate), Miranda has got to be the best dressed.
