Austrian crystal house Swarovski has secured a stellar line-up for its fall 2013 campaign, including Kerr, Pharell Williams and renowned photographer Nick Knight.

Since her departure from the Victoria’s Secret runway in April, Kerr’s next career move has been a guessing game, but it appears the Australian supermodel hasn’t wasted any time securing her next big deal.

The campaign was shot in lush rose gardens across the English countryside by British photographer Nick Knight. Two things spring to mind – ‘Kerr’ and ‘roses’ – undoubtedly a winning combination.

In addition to the print campaign, Kerr will feature in a TV commercial which will air in Italy, France and Hong Kong. Singer, songwriter Pharrell Williams (most recently in the spotlight for the controversial Blurred Lines film clip with Emily Ratajkowski) has composed a special soundtrack for the commercial, which he will also perform in.

“Mix Miranda Kerr with home-grown English garden roses, Swarovski jewelry, Nick Knight photography, original Pharrell Williams music and you get beauty, warmth, coolness and desirability. Things we love,” the campaign creative director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse said in a press release.

She definitely has the ambition, I respect that about her and how much she works to achieve a higher status, she left VS but now is taking other markets by storm, she has Japan nailed down and she seems to have no problem landing just the fair amount of Paris shows mixed in with the LA set of candids, I like that she is pushing herself a bit more, in some cases being dropped of a major contract(s) really brings in a new light to a model, in this case VS and in Australia, David Jones.

^ I agree. If anything, she's most definitely ambitious. I never really understood why people go on about how she's an attention seeker. I think it's often forgotten that apart from being a model, she's a business woman. She's selling the Miranda Kerr brand beyond the pages of the magazine. Yes, that may mean she's a little over-exposed, but that ultimately means exposure for her brand. It's great to see her grow outside of VS and DJ's as well. I don't think there is anything more that her and those two brands could actually do for each other. She's been with them for long years, why not venture off?

On another note, it was lovely seeing her at Paris. I like that whenever she's at Paris for FW, she's most likely to show up at Chanel as well. Thanks for the updates everyone, much appreciated!
