As posted on the site over the last couple of days, Mischa has signed on to film a movie in Russia over the coming weeks. Unfortunately, details have been very scarce with nearly all news reports citing the project as "unknown" or "unnamed". Wikipedia however, is reporting that Mischa (along with Danielle Panabaker) has signed on for a project called Finding T.a.t.u. To learn more about the movie, visit the Yahoo! Movies page. We have no direct confirmation that is the role Mischa will be filming so for now consider this a rumour. Other random details regarding the film include that the movie apparently has a $12 million budget and shooting locations will include Moscow and Yaroslavl. Mischa was quoted as saying that she's been practicing a Russian accent, and one of the two lead characters in this film will be a Russian native so it stands to reason that if this is the role, Mischa will be playing the character of Lana.

Actress MISCHA BARTON is becoming so obsessed with Russia while she prepares to film her next movie in the country, she's teaching herself how to speak the language. The O.C. star will be flying to St Petersburg next month (Jun07) to film the currently unnamed project, and is readying herself for the role, she's driving her friends mad by constantly listening to a Russian language CD. She says, "Any spare time I get, I put a Russian CD on. All I need to do is get a Russian accent but I'm fascinated by Russia."
