Excessive Photoshop isn't the model's fault. But I'm just trying to illustrate a point. She just was so gorgeous. Beautiful smooth skin, gorgeous hair, sparkling eyes.

In my opinion, she used to have a very sunkissed california girl glow that did her complexion and face wonders..

i do miss her honey blonde highlighted hair, but i get the impression she wants to distance herself from her OC look, even though that is the look that made her famous and that had everyone drooling over her..
i'm still a big mischa fan, mainly because i find her so naturally beautiful but i am tired of seeing her hide her beauty under her badly coloured hair and extensions, heavy makeup, and deliberately mismatched "hipster" clothing.

I am a big fan of this style of dress but i can't help but imagine how stunning she could have looked with a natural hair colour and toned down eye makeup.. something like this old look:

IMO, Mischa is still a natural beauty... she still has an amazing face with gorgeous features. Yes, her figure is not what it was when she was a teenager... but we all can relate and she has a nice figure NOW.
The problem is her style... or lack of style in the past two years and her hair...
She needs to cut her extensions and go back to her regular hair color...the light brown with highlights... and start dressing properly.... maybe she would start working again.

It must be dreadful knowing that such a large segment of the population wish you looked like you were more than half a decade ago. This obviously can be applied to Britney also.
But this is a style thread, and we can commiserate about her fashion choices, of course
Still, it seems unfair to compare her basic looks/body, even though we live in an age where observing celebrity flesh is almost analogous to sitting in the audience at a cattle market. And the girls are judging each other just as much as the guys used to judge them. Perhaps more....

i totally agree! especially regarding the first part, i think she found a great balance now and looks healthy

I loved her style in the O.C. 
Absolutely. But showing a "perfect" and ridiculously fake image of her as an example of how gorgeous she used to be does not make sense. I think she is more gorgeous now than she ever was. She is no longer tabula rasa - she is a gorgeous woman with a bit of a history - thus making her infinitely more interesting to me.
All it takes to make everyone fawn over her is darker hair with a fresher cut, some intense spa treatment and heels and voila.
Besides, I don't think her eyes look dead at all - that's really the very edge of her beauty - those expressive eyes.

I agree, it's definitely her hair extensions and hair colour. Shes got to go a lighter shade and loose the extra locks!

i so agree with you guys...i didn't imagine her being that 'lost' - honestly she really got screwed up by the Hollywood-machinery (gossip, bad advisers, bad movie choices, style disasters, personal troubles, paparazzi...) that she seems completely weird to me! if i met someone behaving like that i would honestly recommand a recheck on life! she is unemployed and lives in the cloudes...like come on: she is in the 'i can't be bothered mood'?-then why the hack did she invite a filmteam ?
i liked her years ago when she first showed up as Marissa on the O.C and i really had a girl-crush on her then as she was this perfect girl (lookwise cause character-wise you never know) but now she lost her styling sense imo and somehow reminds me of someone past his/her selldate in Hollywood - unfortunately happens to quite a few actors/actresses starting out young..
stylewise: bad hair, bad make-up, and often weird dressing choices - a no from me ! let's see what the future holds up fashionwise and careerwise for her though!
