 are you talking about her not knowing the soldier or just people like me thinking she's an idiot for being a self-centered arrogant?

in any case, 1. this is a celebrity section and since none of us seem to be friends with anyone famous (other than Acid) I don't see what's the big deal about someone despising a particular celebrity, I know her as much as you do and we both have disagreement about her personality.
and to answer the second case, our disagreements come from the fact that she's so up on her high horse and seems to think so little about everyone else, she should come off a little more humble at least in public and why not, even hypocrite considering she's not even an A-list actress and is untalented enough to have fame and fuss purely because of press and fashion and she could ruin all of that because of that flamboyant stupidity. Let's leave the mini-diva complex for everyday life and don't give us attitudes that cause nothing but harm.
Her show is stupid just like she said and war and soldiers may be as stupid as her show but from that, to be as insensitive about someone's tragedy..i mean, does her brain work correctly?.. i think no. she may be pretty and have every 15 year-old girl dream wardrobe but she's ********. period.

well for the first part both, and i didn't say that there was nothing wrong with despising her, but does the whole entire board have to? And yeah, she definitely ain't no a-lister but maybe in time she'll grow to become better (nicer).

i see a difficult path if she doesnt watch her mouth a bit more often.

about the entire board.. I guess it's just common sense ;)

And she will never be :P .

Never heard of her until I found this thread  . Big surprise for me she was the vomiting ghost at the Sixth Sense.

About her style, mmm really can't find anything special , she wears vintage :innocent: wears chanel bags and everything that is "trendy" this season.

As many of you mentioned before I find her boring and plain as white yoghurt.

What I actually like about Mischa is that she doesn't watch her mouth. Just because someone is a celebrity doesn't mean they have to be so politically correct about everything. She is human and shes allowed to say whatever she wants without people jumping up her a** about it.

She's allowed to think a certain clothing line sucks, shes allowed to think that people should have more important things on their mind then watching her show (Elle article), she's allowed to not like Bush/Kerry.

I dont think she should have to watch her mouth just because she is a celeb. If she looses fans its no big deal to her.

I dunno, but I like her!

I agree with this - I'd rather have someone saying what they think than lying about it - as Shakespeare said, "This above all: To thine own self be true." - William Shakespeare. She shouldn't lie about her ideas to get others to like her, etc, IMO.

Hollywood is quite fake - I generally find her comments quite refreshing.

And I really did think she mean that people should have more important things on their mind than her show, like BabyJ said. That was the interpretation that I got from it. People are mis-quoted all the time. Natalie Portman was recently misquoted, and it got her a lot of flack, too. The only reason people know otherwise is that she actually WROTE in and explained herself.

On another note, I like the outfit (with the shimmery, sheer bolero/cape thing) in the images on the prior page, but I just don't like the skinny jeans.

the girl on the O.C.? she's pretty. reminds me of tiiu kuik but with smaller, delicate bones.

Just a reminder that this thread is about her style, not how many people on the board hate her :P

Don't hate guys, this thread is for appreciation

Hello everyone... I'm new to the forum :-)

I don't necessarily like everthing Mischa wears, but I do get a lot of inspiration from her since we're about the same age.

Here are some candids from the past few months:

When I said she should watch her mouth, I wasn't talking about her oppresing her ideals, I couldn't care less about her political views or her 'fashion sense' for that matter, what pisses me off is that she comes off extremely presumptuous in her comments, I don't defend the guy because he's in the army or sh*t like that but I can place my feet in his shoes and think, 'oh, my legs got cut off, I get bored in the hospital and I'm actually watching a stupid show that's quite entertaining, perhaps I'll send a letter to this girl to let her know she's good at it (entertaining) because I've got nothing else to do" and perhaps he even has a silly crush on her, who cares.
But this idiot totally misunderstood that and minimizes the line where he says his legs got cut off like he's getting full into melodrama, saying 'I mean, there's must be something else than watching my stupid show". for god's sakes, of course there is, he's just showing his admiration and the world doesn't spin around her.
and it's highly probable that considering he's a fan, he might be reading the interview and getting hurt. I know this is not a fricking candy land and well.. there's no space for sentitivity but you can't be so ruthless to not think a bit about somebody's feelings even when you don't know him.

Now, I may follow some celebrities but I'm not American, I'm not a blinded celebrity follower and I do realize they're people like everybody else and sometimes even more ordinary than the average. So.. lecturing me about freedom of speech for celebrities comes a bit out of place.

edit: and there's a fine line between politically correct and having prudence.

A picture of my sister Ali and Mischa from Fashion Week. Ali, model_mom and I met her. She seemed nice, but we were around her only for about five minutes. I was surprised at how tall she is!

Here is a pic. :flower:

I read here that she is 5'7 or 8 but would you say she was taller than that? She always struck me as being really really tall.

I don't like the interview she gave either, but I think she generally has great taste in clothes - for someone young I mean. Sometimes I kinda think her fashion is too predictable though which is boring, other times, she wears great styles. More hit than miss I think :P ;)

bad actress, pretty girl

I couldn't agree more.

Does she ever get sick of that pink chanel bag? I don't think so. She wears it with everything, even if it completely clashes with the outfit she's wearing.

Edit : After looking at some of her candids.. she wears the most awful looking jeans that don't compliment her figure AT ALL.

The girl in the pic with Mischa is a little over 5"10". I do think that Mischa had on heels though.

I used to like celebs like her, but I don't really like her that much don't know why
she's got some nice outfits some time though
