I still find her to be painfully boring fashion-wise. Her boyfriend is a pretty grungy-looking accessory, too. He looks like he would leave a grease-spot on your couch ala Coming To America. She has a pretty face, but major cankles . . .

I couldn't agree more, she really came off as a...you know what. But I think it's important to keep in mind that it was the subjective interpretation of one journalist. I know she has a bit of a bad reputation, but I also suspect that the journalist deliberately chose to make her look snooty.

Well, the overall impression was her feeling superior to pretty much everyone else. I don't remember it in detail, but the journalist described her as nonchalant and condescending. She seemed to try to come off as "worldly", but all it did was make her sound like a not very pleasant person.

agreed - ergh, I can't keep this from being in italics. anyway, I agree with you - it is a lot of journalistic subjectivity.

does anyone know who was the author of Mischa's article? I wonder if it was the same person that did Emmy Rossum, because her article came off like that too. Mischa and Emmy are both fairly priviledged New Yorkers that are tall and thin and pretty...I don't know - I'm starting to wonder. None of the other interviews i've seen with either have been quite so vitriolic.
