Malibu Beach was obviously the place to be over the weekend as Mischa Barton and best friend Nicole Richie decided to catch some waves. On the young Hollywood scene where friendships come and go with the seasons, the pair seem to be firm pals.
The girls were last seen out and about in public enjoying a soothing pottery session at a Beverly Hills ceramic store in April. But on this occasion they may have been in for a slightly more action-packed day since Mischa was holding a surfboard with a view to launching herself into the water.

I must be the only one who doesn't like the dress on her, I find her too "big" for this dress, don't know how to explain it but it looks ridiculously small. I've never liked this kind of dresses.
