Mischa Barton

I love the style of her hair at the Keds event, I'm not too sure about the colour though. Maybe something a little warmer would suit her better.

Love, Love the green and white lacy dresses! I wish i could wear a hat and flats like she does. Love her lately!

Yay Mischa's back. I like the green but I loved it in white.

It's weird that we haven't seen any Mischa candid for about 25 days. I'm sure they have papo in Russia.

Thanks Style Savy for all the pics :flower:

^ I know what you mean, I feel like going to Russia myself with my own camera!

I'm looking for candids when she's wearing a short white dress, carrying a Chanel bag and with a hat on. Does anyone know when was this?

Feeling betrayed, dear readers? It’s understandable, because just when you felt as though you’d mastered skinny jeans, along came the wide-leg look and a whole new set of issues. Perhaps you missed our thoughts on easy fit in October or maybe February’s Ask A Stylist didn’t clarify things? What we do know for sure is that we’re still receiving loads of emails wondering what to wear with wide-leg jeans. We decided to showcase some of our favorite style-setting muses in this trend, and hopefully you’ll be inspired by how they wear the look.

In an ideal world, it’s best to offset the volume of wide-legged jeans with a tucked-in top and a belt. You’ll still look like you have a waist and won’t look sloppy. This is important, as one of the pitfalls of an untucked top is the overall thickening effect it has on your figure. A perfect example of what to wear with these pants can be seen on Meredith Melling Burke, Vogue’s Senior Market Editor and one of our personal icons (above, far right). The slightly loose top she selected is flattering on any body. The rest of her outfit is easy genius as well—we love the bright, fitted cardigan and open-toe pumps.

If you’re not comfortable with tucking your shirt in, you won’t look like a wide load if you pick a shorter, slightly loose shirt, like Jessica Alba (middle). We also like wide-legs with a fitted top and vest, as seen on Selma Blair in a previous story. One thing to note, while Rachel Bilson (second from right) chose to wear her Seven For All Mankind Ginger jeans cut and frayed at the bottom, we prefer a clean hem.

As for shoes, there’s something rather awful about pointy-toed shoes and wide-leg jeans. Please stick to either an open or round-toe wedge or pump. Of course, if you’re tall or have long legs like Mischa Barton (second from left), you don’t need the additional leg-lengthening effect that heels provide. In this case, feel free to wear flats, like Mischa’s Marc Jacobs Nalux Studded version, currently on sale, in black or white, at Zoe Boutique ($402, shopzoeonline.com).

Finally, we’ve sourced some of the best wide-legged jeans available online for you. Seven For All Mankind’s Ginger Jean is a celeb favorite, as seen on Rachel Bilson here and Jessica Alba. They have a normal-to-low rise and we like them in the Mercer wash ($143, shopbop.com). Citizens of Humanity’s Faye Wide Leg Jean in Pacific is another great basic option, the wide cuff gives a trouser feeling to the denim ($199, shopbop.com). For a high-waisted wide-legged jean like on Rihanna and Mischa Barton, try Grey Ant’s Carpenter Jeans ($330, shopbop.com

both of those bags must have been cost a fortune to Mischa if they're not gifts:D
