It's obvious that she's doing it on purpose. She's doing it because in the final analysis it gets her press. For that outfit alone she's on dozens of blogs today and people are talking about her. We all know what they say about press in Hollywood.

Her career is in the dumps and she would fade into oblivion unless she pulled wacky crap like this.

The girl used to dress very well, was a front row fixture at major fashion shows and in fashion magazines. Of course she knows good from bad.

I totally disagree S: If that is what she's doing, it's very childish and naive of her. It also reflects quite badly, doesn't it? How is she going to get work if she's constantly a mess? If she wanted press, she could, for example, start dressing WELL again and start taking care of herself - she'd be making it onto lots of gossip/fashion blogs. The only reason Sienna Miller made it big was because she started the whole boho craze and everyone loved what she was wearing and it generated lots of interest in her. It would be very superficial obviously but... ho hum. She could be doing charity work, that would get her press if she's so desperate and she'd be doing good! As long as she doesn't pull a Lindsay and pretend that she's rescued 40 child workers...
