Yes it is. Out on the 30th of August and there will also be an app!
Edited by Alice Cavanagh (former editor of Oyster) and Christine is fashion director.

Such a cute cover! And Elle is a perfect fit for their first issue.

Miss Vogue, aimed at a younger audience....featuring a £1500 Givenchy jumper on the cover....

idiots.

Well, I think styling is superb. Elle looks fresh, beautiful and very youthful. I don't see any problem with Givenchy jumper. Maybe there is some teenagers in Australia, who can afford it. Teen Vogue and Miss Vogue also fashion magazines, doest ir mean they can't use luxury brand items, because teens can't afford it ? No. More than half of the Vogue readers, also can't afford this jumper.

I would hardly say it's idiotic. Teen Vogue does the same thing. I don't think teens will be running out to buy the Erdem dress Shay Mitchell was wearing in her spread, or the Louis Vuitton outfit AnnaSophia Robb wore in hers.

Also, their target demographic is older than Teen Vogue. Vogue Australia said on their Facebook page that the demographic for this magazine is 19-29 years old, whereas Teen Vogue is geared primarily toward 16-year-olds.

Very nice cover and Elle is perfect here!

I think the outfit on the cover is cute and appropriate; it can very easily be 'copied' with pieces from H&M, Zara, etc. since they will all undoubtedly have their own version of the Bambi sweaters this season. Besides, how many of us can afford the pieces on regular Vogue covers? Definitely not me

I agree that this is better than the British version of Miss Vogue. I really like this.

I LOVE elle and I think this was an incredibly smart choice for the first cover but I am so distracted by the one sleeve pushed up one sleeve pushed down thing I can't quite get into this cover. I'm still going to get it though. I remember when the first vogue girl australia came out with gemma on the cover and then it was cancelled after only two issues, it was so devastating to my 14 year old self.

Having bought this issue, the whole thing seems a bit confused as to what it wants to be and to which group of people.

They say their target is 19-29, but they call it Miss Vogue, which is a very teen magazine name, and may very well put their target demographic off picking it up off a shelf. This is a serious issue, given that attracting an audience is a major factor for any new magazine.

And, their first cover star is a teen actor who would be perfect for a teen magazine. The gushing article on Elle seemed a bit embarrassing to my 26 year old self; maybe as a 16 year old I would empathize more with the (presumably grown up) writer's stated wish of being Elle's best friend because she is so nice and cute and fashionable and talented etc.

The magazine is also quite light on content in my opinion; all the articles and interviews aside from the feature are very short and not of what I would call a completely adult-pitched standard of writing. They would sit perfectly in a teen magazine, but they feel very light to me.

The editorials themselves are actually great and are pitched well at the 19-29 adult demographic. I will say that they have a very Russh-vibe to them, as does the whole magazine layout. Which I guess doesn't matter, as they seem to be doing Russh better than Russh does itself now (Russh has been downhill ever since Stevie left).

Overall, it's a bit of mess, with great individual parts here and there, but hard to understand as complete object. I think they need to do some serious thinking about what they want this magazine to be.
