Moderator Note: It has been decided that the Australian edition of Elle will receive its own thread, on a three month trial to see if more interest and discussion is generated about the magazine. Last month's issue with Gemma Ward on the cover seemed to generate a lot of interest, so we're giving it a go..

Btw, can't for the life of me find out who photographed Blake for this particular cover. This shoot is reprinted and French Elle even failed to credit the photographer! Does anyone know, or able to find out?

I like her pose, I like the styling and her hair but her facial expression does not say much to me. I wish I could see more emotion, it´s like a in-between shots I feel. The layout itself of the cover is not very impressive either. It´s very commercial, safe and school like. I don´t see any risk or anything truly exciting and forward looking there. It´s an ok-ish cover for me.

The pink suede coat is weirdly fabulous, it seems to work for the cover. But Blake's facial expression is puzzling, indeed.

I always like a Blake Lively cover, but her recent ones haven't been as good as I remember. There's just something missing that would lift them from 'generic' to 'great'. Maybe it's the flatter hair, maybe she looks much better when there's more body to it.

The coat works... I find that very true, but very shocking. I actually like this. The hair, the styling. However, I would've done without the thigh showing because it looks too Cosmo? The accessories could have been better as well.

But one concern, the brows...

Despite the photoshop disaster, they are really selling that suede coat. Why are they using the Cosmopolitan font?

I quite like this cover and suede coat suits her really well

Everything works on this cover, especially the colour of that coat. Looks very rich and cosy. I'm just a bit over editors not doing much effort with Blake's hair. It always looks like this, reminds me of Jennifer Aniston. She's actually much more daring with her personal style.
