Creative director Angela Missoni interrupted the rigorous geometries of the brand’s signature multicolor graphics to introduce more arty motifs for pre-fall. Romantic flowers, which appeared to be created by soft brush strokes, appeared on a Lurex V-neck top paired with flared pants for a Seventies silhouette and on a striking orange wool jacquard cape.
Irregular multicolor spots also formed the leopardlike patterns of head-to-toe animalier looks, including a cropped, printed-wool jacket worn with a printed-silk shirt, knitted vest and wool jacquard skirt.
Unmistakably Missoni textures and patterns were present in the offerings as well, among them feminine Lurex knitted-lace dresses and a zigzag boiled-wool coat embellished with furry wool details.
